Water/Sewer Maintenance Technician I or II
Cedar River Water & Sewer District is accepting applications for a full-time Water/Sewer Maintenance Technician I or II.
The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician I or II include installing, repairing and maintaining the District’s water and sewer systems, including but not limited to water reservoirs, pump stations, water and sewer mains, water services, sewer structures, lift stations, sewer laterals and SCADA system. Meter reading and maintenance may also be assigned as needed. This position requires working in all weather conditions and the ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including digging, climbing in and out of trenches and manholes, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Candidate must have a valid WA State Driver’s License, basic math skills, familiarity with computers, knowledge of construction tools and equipment (backhoe, dump truck etc.) and the ability to use power and hand tools.
Maintenance Tech I position salary range is $32.74 – $42.52/hr. DOE.
Maintenance Tech II position salary range is $37.27 – $48.42/hr. DOE.
