District Maps

The Cedar River Water and Sewer District was formed on June 21, 1960 to provide service to approximately 520 square acres in the area known as Maple Valley Heights. Since that time the District’s corporate area has grown through 38 annexations to approximately 9,420 acres, or 14.5 square miles. The District service area has grown to approximately 37 square miles.

Current Project(s):

  • SE 170th St 4″ AC Water Main Replacement: This project includes replacement of 4″ AC Pipe with 4″ Ductile Iron Pipe on SE 170th St to enhance durability and longevity. New individual water services will also be run to each of the 6 residences that are served by this water main. Work will begin on 8/14/26 and is expected to end on 8/31/26. The daily work hours will be 7:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M.
