NEW OFFICE ADDRESS AND ENTRANCE

18421 SE Petrovitsky Road

After nearly 9 years of planning and permitting, Cedar River Water & Sewer District is pleased to announce that the new office and administrative facilities have recently been completed.  Entrance to the new facility is now located at 18421 SE Petrovitsky Road.  The customer payment drop box has also been moved to our new entrance and is checked every weekday by 6:45 a.m.

The new facility is built on a 12 acre site and consists of approximately 25,000 square feet of new administrative space, vehicle storage facilities, and pipe storage areas.  Much effort was made to utilize the trees on site for the posts, timbers, and decking used within the lobby and throughout much of the facility.  In addition, all topsoil used on site for planting was preserved and recycled during the clearing process.  As required by county code, the project was designed and built around the existing sensitive areas on the site in addition to making significant hydraulic and wetland area improvements.  The facility is designed to meet the needs of the district customers for the next 40 to 50 years. 

The 36 year old facility vacated by the move to the new office will be maintained as shop space, storage, and a training area.  District customers are welcome to stop in and see the facility and tours can be arranged during working hours by contacting Mike Morris at mmorris@crwsd.com.
